Sensor Tower's latest data offers an intriguing look into the performance of dinosaur-themed games on the iOS platform during the second quarter of 2024. Here's how the top contenders fared in this prehistoric battle of the apps.

Mecha Domination: Rampage stormed onto the scene with its release in late April, quickly ramping up revenue from $79K to a peak of $4.7M by mid-May before settling at $1.7M by the end of June. Downloads showed an initial surge, followed by a notable spike to 515K in early June, indicating growing interest in the game.

Primal Conquest: Dino Era, another newcomer from the same publisher, demonstrated a steady revenue increase, reaching a high of $969K in late April and another peak of $721K at the quarter's end. Downloads mirrored this pattern, with an impressive jump to 901K in late April. Weekly active users climbed from 72K to a robust 695K in the same month, underscoring the game's swift capture of audience attention.

Long-standing favorite Jurassic World™: The Game continued to show its dominance with revenues peaking at $2M in early June, although downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around the 50K-100K mark. Notably, weekly active users consistently stayed above 590K, reflecting a dedicated player base.

Cousin to the aforementioned classic, Jurassic World Alive also maintained a solid performance. Although revenue saw some fluctuations, it achieved a high of $1.2M in early June. Downloads saw modest peaks, with a noteworthy 46K in mid-June, and weekly active users remained stable, indicating a steady engagement rate.

Lastly, Ulala: Idle Adventure faced a challenging quarter. Despite an initial revenue of over $1M in early April, the game saw a decline, finishing June with $402K. Downloads were minimal, and weekly active users showed a slight downtrend, ending with 25K in late June.
